In the last two weeks of March, Gen Eupame, National Spiritual Director of NKT for France made two visits to the south of France to give teachings at KMC Vajravarahi in Toulouse and KMC Vajrassatva in Montpellier.
The first Saturday in April is NKT Day, a special occasion on which we celebrate the extraordinary deeds of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in creating and nourishing the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union.
Just as the work on the copper roof nears completion, the 37 golden vajras are placed atop the Temple and the doorways are made ready for the deer and Dharma wheels to be placed in position. Watch this video and discover how important the opening of the Temple will be.

Dublin’s newest meditation space opened this weekend! It was such a wonderful weekend at the official opening of the beautiful new Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre, Templeogue Village, Dublin. Our National Spiritual Director Kadam Bridget Heyes gave such inspiring teachings and guided some beautiful meditations. We were so delighted to see friends old and new from all around Ireland drop in for the weekend.
For two weeks Gen Ananda, National Spiritual Director of NKT for Germany, travelled throughout the country giving public talks on “Buddhas Weg zum Glück” (Buddha’s path to happiness) in some major cities such as Berlin, Dresden, Munich, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Wiesbaden, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt, Essen and Hamburg.
Recently, around 100 fortunate students at KMC Paris received the empowerment of Buddha Amitayus from the Resident Teacher Gen Tonpa. The following weekend, Gen Losang granted the blessing empowerment of Green Tara to a full house at Tara IKRC.
On June 4 2021, which was the 90th birthday of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Kadampa centers around the world joined in a special celebration of retreat and puja based on the recitation of Venerable Geshe-la’s name mantra. This gathering was the first of what has become a new event in the Kadampa calendar that will take place every year on June 4, which is Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day.
Seventeen fortunate students from Kadampa centers around the world are currently engaged in a six-month training course at Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC.
