News from two centers in Texas: KMC Houston & KMC Texas
First empowerment at KMC Houston
The first empowerment ever granted in KMC Houston happened on Saturday, April 30 with Gen Kelsang Wangpo granting the empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara.
The Center went from being a GP branch to opening an independent space in February 2020 and has been slowly growing through the pandemic.

Public talk at the Dallas Museum of art
Recently, KMC Dallas partnered with the Dallas Museum of Art to offer a free public talk with guided meditations.
"Every year for over a decade we host this event in their beautiful auditorium. Being our first year back in person, we had over 100 people attend. It was a gift to listen to Dharma and meditate together. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and to everyone who made it possible!"
