The very heart of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche's enduring legacy is the extraordinary collection of 23 books he composed.

These highly renowned works are the basis of the study programs at the centers and are increasingly being adopted by universities and other educational establishments.

These books are produced and published around the world by Tharpa Publications, a publishing company founded by Venerable Geshe-la and a part of NKT-IKBU.

Collected works in new languages

Teams of translators around the world are working to bring pure Kadam Dharma to their countries by translating the Collected Works of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Here is an update from Norway, Thailand, Tharpa Asia, Sweden and Finland.

Children’s Books on Meditation and Buddhism

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche recognized that everyone can benefit from the teachings of Buddha, no matter their age. He wrote four books for children that give a clear explanation of the essence of Buddhism and its relevance to modern living.

Australian Mind, Body, Spirit Festival

Tharpa AU had a stall at the Sydney Mind, Body, Spirit Festival this weekend. The festival had over 20,000 attendees, all interested in health, wellness and spirituality.
The stall was packed with interested people all weekend, eager for information about Buddhism and meditation, in the end Tharpa sold over 70 books and 100 meditation CDs and KMC Sydney handed out hundreds of flyers for their local centre and branch classes.

Book fair and public talk in Granada

For the occasion of Book’s Day and Saint Jordi’s festivities, KMC Granada had the opportunity to participate in the local book fairs for one week, showcasing the works of our precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Also they’ve organised a public talk which was very well attended.

Book’s day in Spain

On Sunday, April 23, several KMCs, including KMC Barcelona, KMC Menorca, and KMC Ibiza celebrated the Book day and the festivity of Sant Jordi by being present in the local book fairs with all the works of our precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Taking Dharma to the people in rural Australia

For the past 7 months Tharpa Australia has been on a country-wide tour of libraries holding free talks called “Meditate to Transform Your Life” based on the book “How to Transform Your Life”.

Major book tour in Germany comes to an end

Tharpa Publications Germany has just completeda 2-week tour during which Gen Ananda, the National Spiritual Director of Germany gave talks in 12 different cities on Venerable Geshe-la’s book How to Transform Your Life.

Tharpa Spain Book tour

In October 2022 Tharpa Spain started a book talk campaign to promote the book The Clear Light of Bliss as it was the last book of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s collection to be translated into Spanish. This year the tour is continuing in Barcelona, Alicante, Bilbao and Elche.
