Meditation Changes Everything - Part 2
A Dharma Tour around Germany
Following the successful first part of his tour of Germany, Gen Kelsang Ananda, the National Spiritual Director for Germany, gave inspiring and encouraging talks at the Kadampa Meditation Centers in Cologne, Essen, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, and Hamburg.
He explained that the main purpose of Buddha's teachings is world peace, which can be achieved through meditation training, which creates peace in our minds. However, by developing pure and undistorted states of mind in meditation, we can change the world altogether since it is a mere appearance to the mind.
The public events were very well received, with the Sangha communities coming together and many new people connecting with their local centres. Follow this tour around Germany below.
KADAMPA MEDITATION CENTER IN Essen
Starting mid-October the first talk of the tour was in Essen. Gen Kelsang Ananda held a public lecture called Why Meditation Changes Everything. Many familiar faces, as well as new guests, attended and enjoyed the inspiring teachings.

The following day, the next public talk was given at the beautiful center of KMC Cologne.

The following day Gen Ananda gave a public talk at KMC Frankfurt.
KADAMPA MEDITATION CENTER IN Wiesbaden
It was a a wonderful evening with Gen Ananda where people enjoyed Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's teachings in the South German city of Wiesbaden.

The last talk of the tour took place in Hamburg, the second largest city in Germany. What an inspiring evening!
