Foundation Programs at Kadampa Centers around the world

In all Kadampa centers around the world people who express a wish to advance their Dharma practice have the opportunity to join the Foundation Program or Teacher Training Program. Through studying systematically on the Foundation Program, people gain a deeper experience of Dharma that helps them to use the teachings more readily in their daily life.
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche has designed three special Study Programs for the systematic study and practice of Modern Buddhism that are especially suited to the modern world: the General Program, Foundation Program, and Teacher Training Program.
There are three reasons why we need to study and practice the teachings of Buddha - to develop our wisdom, to cultivate a good heart and to maintain a peaceful state of mind:
