Foundation Programs at Kadampa Centers around the world

Kadampa Meditation Center DC was founded in 1994 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, a world-renowned Buddhist Master who has introduced Modern Buddhism into contemporary society. It provides a powerful source of Kadam Dharma in the capital city.
During the 2020 Online International Fall Festival there are opportunities at some Kadampa Centers to take part with other Kadampas, watching on a large screen and staying in center accommodation with the meditation room, accommodation and meals all arranged according to official Covid-19 guidelines. Yesterday at KMC Stockholm we took delivery of 100 copies of Universal Compassion in Swedish. This is the fourth book of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche published by Tharpa Sweden since 2017.
Friday, October 16, is Work a Day for World Peace Day, during which people all over the world will dedicate a day’s wages or whatever is a comfortable amount to help with the work of the International Temples Project. This year construction of the Sixth Temple for World Peace begins. The team has already started on the ground work and on Friday we wil be showing the first video from the new series TempleWatch Málaga!
An auspicious development at KMC Barcelona’s retreat center in Montserrat as members of the community install the Dharma Wheel, deer and eight auspicious symbols on the exterior walls. These exquisite adornments were made at the Kadampa Art Studio in the UK.
