Fulfilling needs and wishes

At a difficult time for so many people, through the extraordinary compassion of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, more and more meditation centers are appearing to fulfil the needs and wishes of the people of this world.

Recently we reported on the finishing touches being out on the new center in Aberdeen. Now, we celebrate the opening of this beautiful city Temple and outreach hub for north-east Scotland.

Rejoicing in the appearance of a new centre during a pandemic!

"The most northern centre of the UK, in Aberdeen, Scotland, opened its doors on October 10 with an abundant tsog puja.

"Having completed the renovations during the lockdown, and after months of teaching online from temporary locations, there is such joy in the community to finally be able to hold classes in the new centre and meet in such a blessed environment. With a purpose-built audio visual system the centre can now simultaneously hold live classes, and stream both online and to a video link in the overflow reception area.

"Through the inconceivable kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and the kindness and dedication of many volunteers and benefactors, this new centre for the North of Scotland is such a special place of refuge. An appearance that is perhaps needed now more than ever before."
