Foundation Programs at Kadampa Centers around the world

KMC Hong Kong is now open to the public for meditation classes. People came to look round the new center and listen to the Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Tonglam give a teaching. Soon after, the new Foundation Program classes begin studying Meaningful to Behold.
The big day arrived! While some workers were engaged in the stone wall landscaping and others preparing the outer Temple walls for the stucco, the Dharma Wheel, the Lantern Tower and the Crowning Vajra were lifted into place. What an auspicious day!
KMC New York recently held another powerful weekend retreat led by Evelyn Williams. Many new practitioners visited the World Peace Temple and enjoyed the retreat experience.
Last week was a very special and inspiring time at KMC Guadalajara. On August 25 the name of the center appeared on the main entrance and on Sunday August 29 they opened our doors and started their in-person activities.

Last weekend Manjushri KMC took another step towards normal operations as it hosted a Summer Retreat that included residential accommodation. Entitled Permission to be Peaceful it was led by Gen Kelsang Sherab, Resident Teacher of Compassion KBC in the UK. It was a magical weekend and participants delighted in the beautiful weather and peaceful atmosphere. In keeping with many other Tharpa Offices around the world, Tharpa Spain is moving its operation to be near a major Kadampa Temple for World Peace. The move to KMC Spain is presently underway while its previous home KMC Madrid, looks for a larger property.
KMC Florida is marking 10 years since it was founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche – ten years of spreading inner and outer peace in the Sunshine State.
Starting September 12 there is an opportunity to study Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s precious book The Mirror of Dharma on the Special Teacher Training Program (STTP) with Gen-la Dekyong, who received the transmission of this book directly from Venerable Geshe-la himself.
The Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC is buzzing with volunteer visitors of all ages and backgrounds helping to prepare objects for the new Temple in Málaga, the new centre in Leeds, and many other centres around the world. This summer the Studio has enjoyed the company of many young people, including recent graduates and students in their vacation weeks.
