Re-opening the Malaga urban temple

A team of volunteers recently worked hard to prepare the Urban Temple in the city of Málaga to reopen after a long period of closure due to Covid. This is followed by a week of FREE classes and activities to welcome everyone back.

Re-opening the Temple in London

August 25, 2021

Along with many other Kadampa centers, KMC London is preparing to open its doors again to the public after a break for the summer, and in many cases much longer. The community at the Temple in Morden have been busy preparing the Temple to welcome everyone back, including major renovation work on the entrances.

Festivals & Dharma Celebrations in September

Wonderful developments at Tara IKRC

Over 200 people are enjoying the post Summer Festival Retreat at Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre this week, with 50 in-person and the remainder taking part online. And after months of careful restoration – repainting and gold leafing – the Buddha Shakyamuni statue was installed in the shrine for the retreat!

Reality is bliss

Right now people in New York City are enjoying a week-long post Summer Festival retreat with Resident Teacher of KMC New York City, Kadam Morten. To the delight of many, during one session Kadam Morten proclaimed the memorable line, “It just so happens that reality is bliss.”

19 ~ Progress on all fronts!

Artists, construction workers and landscapes are all working hard to bring the Temple to completion. Windows are installed, the cladding for the pillars in place, the exterior landscaping under way and the final touches being added to the lantern tower before it is liften into place at the top pf the Temple.
