Grand opening ceremony of KMC Durban

Last night something very special happened in South Africa in the city of Durban…
“Gen-la Kunsang, after making the long journey and giving so much kind energy to helping us complete our beautiful new shrine, officially opened the new Urban Temple at Kadampa Meditation Centre Durban. Fortunate Kadampas from around the country joined in with the Durban Sangha for what was a very moving and powerful ceremony, particularly as everyone stood when the Buddhas were invited to enter and remain.”

The opening of Nagarjuna Kadampa Centre in Argentina

On November 19, after months of work and renovations, a new Dharma center was inaugurated in Zona Norte area of Buenos Aires.
Over 60 people came for this auspicious event born out of the intention of our Guru, the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, to bring Dharma centers to all people so that they can achieve ultimate happiness by listening to Buddha’s teachings.

Great developments at KMC Durban

After years of hard work, assisted by the members of the center, KMC Durban has completed its brand new meditation room and World Peace Cafe. While waiting for the statues for the shrine (see below) Gen Kelsang Jampel, the Resident Teacher, recently opened the new meditation room and began teaching classes there.
