Dharma Celebration in Ontario 2024
The third Dharma Celebration of Canada with Gen-la Jampa took place last weekend in Toronto. Dharma centers from across Ontario gathered at the national center, KMC Canada, to celebrate Buddha’s wisdom teachings.
Public Talk in Toronto
The Sangha at KMC Canada, Toronto, have been preparing for the much-anticipated public talk by Gen-la Jampa. Members put a lot of energy into promoting the event across the city, and many new people came to hear how world peace is possible by generating inner peace to create outer peace.
Gen-la Jampa’s clear presentation touched everyone deeply. After the talk, he mingled with the attendees, warmly engaging in conversations. Everyone was delighted, feeling his kindness and caring attitude.
Ontario DHARMA CELEBRATION
What a wonderful spiritual family gathering! Sangha from Ontario centers came together at the national Temple, KMC Canada in Toronto, over the weekend. Joined by newcomers inspired by their local teachers, the event provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with like-minded people.
The weekend began with an introduction by Gen Chodor, followed by meditations guided by Gen Suma. Gen-la Jampa granted the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni and gave teachings on the Liberating Prayer. The event was filled with inspiration and harmony, making it truly memorable.
As the Celebration concluded, everyone returned to their home centers with a shared sense of unity and a renewed determination to follow the path shown by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and the NKT-IKBU to benefit all living beings.
