Inspiring visits bring joy and meaning

After years of hard work, assisted by the members of the center, KMC Durban has completed its brand new meditation room and World Peace Cafe.
While waiting for the statues for the shrine (see below) Gen Kelsang Jampel, the Resident Teacher, recently opened the new meditation room and began teaching classes there. Their first event was "Meditation and a Meal", followed by a Sunday morning meditation class and lunch.
The statues for the new shrine are being prepared at Kadampa Art Studio in the UK and are almost ready to be shipped. During the summer, various people associated with the Center, including Gen Kelsang Jampel, helped at the Studio preparing the statues.
Teachers from around the world visited Kadampa communities in Edinburgh (UK), Paris (France), Concepción (Chile), and Madrid (Spain), sharing practical teachings, guided meditations, and inspiring advice that helped participants deepen their experience of Dharma in daily life.
