Kadampa events for families are taking place all over the world, providing a wonderful opportunity for young minds to engage in meaningful and enriching activities. These events aim to cultivate positive minds, inner peace, and a sense of community among children.
KMC Spain celebrated the second anniversary of the opening of Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Malaga on the 8th of June, continuing a tradition created last year. It was a great success with around 200 people from the local population attending, some of whom knew the Temple and some of whom came for the first time, receiving very meaningful impressions.

KMC Spain celebrated on the 10th of June its first anniversary of the 6th Kadampa Temple for World Peace. The program included guided visits to the Temple and the site, gifts raffles, varios Cafés and shop open, activities for children and the most popular one: a public talk with the NSD in Spain and resident teacher, Gen Kelsang Chokga.

KMC Spain just held an open house weekend. 600 people from the surrounding towns, including Malaga, Granada and Seville, came to see this beautiful Temple and enjoy guided meditations from the Resident Teacher Gen Chokga, guided tours of the whole site and special activities for children and families.
The last in a series of Public Talks, prior to the Opening of the new Temple, was recently held at the public library at Alhaurín el Grande’s library, which is close to the Temple site.
Last weekend, KMC Deauchen hosted the Portuguese Dharma Celebration. Gen Kelsang Chokga, the National Spiritual Director of Spain and Portugal, came to Sintra to grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva. Meditations were guided by Gen Kelsang Rigden, Resident Teacher at KMC Deauchen.
KMC Málaga recently held a special event at which Gen Kelsang Chokga, National Spiritual Director of Spain and Portugal, granted the empowerment of Great Mother Prajnaparamita.
