Fall Festival 2024 ~ Day 1
Oct 25, 2024
Kadampa events for families are taking place all over the world, providing a wonderful opportunity for young minds to engage in meaningful and enriching activities. These events aim to cultivate positive minds, inner peace, and a sense of community among children. Here were focusing in on recent events from New York, Portugal, Spain, Hong Kong and the UK.
Recently more than 400 locals had a great time at the World Peace Temple at KMC New York! There were amazing people, tasty food, enjoyable games, lively music, bubbles, a bouncy house, coffee, and meditation. Thanks to all the hardworking organizers and attendees, the event was truly meaningful. Everyone had fun and is looking forward to next year!
Recently KMC Spain hosted a special course for children and families from all over Spain. The family activities program was very fun and extensive. It included meditations in the Temple, Jincana, group games, crafts and a play where parents and children participated, all guided by a group of kadampa teachers.
"It was a beautiful event where each family enjoyed sharing the Dharma, playing meaningful games, where the children had fun while understanding the value of inner peace and how our interior affects what we perceive.
"The children were amazed at the Temple and felt that they were entering the "Buddha Castle", a magical palace where the Buddhas live.
KMC Spain will host the International Fall Festival 2023 (6th - 12th October).

KMC Hong Kong hosted a Dharma for Children class with Kelsang Dachog.
"Thank you for joining the Dharma for Children class this morning. It’s really fun to meditate, play games and listen to the story of Angulimala together, through which we learn how to create happiness and be a happy person 😊"
Khedrubje KBC in Hull hosted a Dharma for Families day, which attracted over 30 attendees. The event offered a diverse range of activities, including meditation sessions, a captivating play depicting one of Buddha's previous lives as the Monkey King, a lively west African drum workshop, engaging arts and crafts, mandala making, and enjoyable games. The day concluded with a delightful BBQ, a cozy campfire and marshmallows.
