Every year at a national level NKT organises National Festivals and Dharma Celebrations in various countries . The Festivals are usually taught by Gen-las and the Celebrations by the National Spiritual Director for that country. Here are three Dharma Celebrations scheduled for the coming week:
Today, October 25, is Je Tsongkhapa Day. Je Tsongkhapa is an emanation of Buddha Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. Buddha emanates as Je Tsongkhapa to spread his pure teachings of Sutra and Tantra in general, and especially Highest Yoga Tantra, throughout the world.
Gen-la Jampa, Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, begins another tour of South America beginning with the third Chile National Festival, October 31 – November 3, at KMC Chile.
