Local classes and courses

At present there are 1100 Kadampa Buddhist centers and groups in 40 countries, each of which with a qualified Meditation Teacher.

All these centers offer regular classes and courses based on the General Program.

These classes are suitable for all levels from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The range of classes and courses offered includes:

• Evening and lunchtime drop-in classes
• Day courses
• Weekend courses
• Short retreats

Many centers also offer classes for children.

Structured study programs

Kadampa centers also offer two structured study programs – the Foundation Program and the Teacher Training Program.

These programs are specially designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding and experience of Buddha’s teachings.
