In 1995, the first french Kadampa Center opened in a small flat in Paris’ Latin Quarter, it was named "Boddhitchita Buddhist Center". Since then Kadam Dharma has spread considerably with more and more centers opening in France.
In early 2007, Kadampa Buddhist Center Bodhitchitta in Paris moved to la Sarthe near Le Mans to become Kadampa Meditation Center France. KMC France is located in a peaceful rural setting offering short and long courses, retreats and residential accommodation.

In 2007 in Paris, KBC Bodhichitta was replaced with KBC Shakyamouni, later to become KMC Paris, which is now located in a busy vibrant part of a thriving city offering non-residential evening classes, day courses, weekend events and short retreats.

Venerable Geshe-la's Kadam Dharma appeared in Montpellier in 2003. In 2008, following a request from students, the KBC Vajarassattva was born and a place was found to rent in a former cloister.

Kadam Dharma first arrived in Metz in the late 90's. In 2018 it relocated to a beautiful commercial space in the new city centre district of Metz.
Kadam Dharma first arrived in Toulouse in 2006. Today KMC Vajravarahi occupies a beautiful building in an elegant part of the city.
The centre has branches in Bordeaux, Brives and Tournefeuille.
Kadam Dharma first appeared in Lille in the early 2000s and now occupies a beautiful commercial space in the heart of the city, in a very popular area near by "Grand place".
The center was born in September 2006 in Cannes and Venerable Geshe-la gave it the name of Chakrasambara. In the spring of 2008, the center moved to Nice.
In January 2016, the center moved to a commercial space with windows, at 58 Bd Delfino in the city center.

Toushita centre in Nantes was created in 2002. Since 2018 it has been located in the heart of Nantes in a commercial area. The centre has branches in Angers and La Bernerie.

In 2000, Venerable Geshe-la, following a request from practitioners, offered statues (notably of Shakyamuni Buddha and Dorje Shugden) to Lyon centre and gave it the name Lamrim Centre.
Nowdays the centre's moveed close to the Valmy metro station, allowing it to benefit more people through it's position and bigger meditation room.

Drolma Centre is located near the city centre in Rennes. It was created in 2006 by a small group of practitioners. Since then, several branches have opened in Bretagne, such as in Lorient and Saint-Brieuc.
