The studio never stops

No sooner had the work for the Málaga Temple been completed than the Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC switched focus to preparing statues and art for smaller urban Temples.

Embracing the future at the Kadampa Art Studio

Seventeen fortunate students from Kadampa centers around the world are currently engaged in a six-month training course at Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC.

Art for the Málaga Temple

The artists and volunteers at the Kadampa Art Studio have been hard at work for months preparing statues and adornments for the Málaga temple which is due to open in June.

Kadampa Art Studio Training Course

The New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union is developing many Temples and Kadampa Meditation Centers internationally. There is a need for more skilled individuals to help with such projects, therefore the Kadampa Art Studio will be offering a six month Statue Production Training Course to develop a foundation of experience for Kadampas wishing to contribute to these auspicious projects.

‘It’s incredible how much I am learning’

The Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC is buzzing with volunteer visitors of all ages and backgrounds helping to prepare objects for the new Temple in Málaga, the new centre in Leeds, and many other centres around the world. This summer the Studio has enjoyed the company of many young people, including recent graduates and students in their vacation weeks.

Volunteers helping to build Temples

The development of the new Temple for World Peace in Málaga, Spain, depends upon the invaluable contribution made by volunteers helping out at the Kadampa Art Studio in the UK. There are always openings for people who want to join this team as a volunteer visitor.

The golden wheel

Among the many auspicious events on June 4 – Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day – the gilders at the Kadampa Art Studio in the UK finished gilding the first of the four Dharma Wheels for the new Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Málaga, Spain. The Wheel is now crated ready for shipping to Spain.
