The artists and volunteers at the Kadampa Art Studio have been hard at work for months preparing statues and adornments for the Málaga temple which is due to open in June.

At present they are engaged in:

• Casting two large stupas (now completed)
• Finishing the deer and the final Dharma wheel for the Temple roof
• Painting the double lotus for the Buddha Shakyamuni statue
• Painting the statue of Venerable Geshe-la
• Gilding vajras and auspicious plaques

The art training course begins
The first nine trainees for the course have now arrived at Manjushri KMC and have begun their training in various sections of the Studio.
