KMC Barcelona recently hosted two inspiring events. A Magical Retreat at Temple in Montserrat ‘The Power of Prayers’, led by Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Lochani and nearly 200 people attended a traditional calçotada (Catalan barbecue) typical in Catalunia.

Retreats in special locations, beyond the city, offer those living in busy urban areas a chance to step away from the usual hustle and bustle. These precious getaways provide the perfect opportunity to disconnect, recharge, and create the space for Dharma to deeply transform the heart.

At Spring Festival this year we will receive an explanation of Buddha’s teachings on loving kindness.

National Spiritual Directors travel to various centers around their countries to give special talks and teach courses. Gen Eupame, the NSD of France, visited Montpellier, Toulouse, and Rennes, while Gen Sangden visited San Cristóbal de las Casas in Mexico. These visits offer people the valuable opportunity to deepen their connection with their NSD.

In recent weeks, two away retreats were held in Zaragoza (Spain) and Chicago (USA). Participants were able to relax and enjoy the peace of their own mind through meditation.
