One month of Deep Meditations experience
Feb 8, 2025
Read about the wonderful month of retreats at KMC Spain, where they were able to offer Lamrim, Heruka Body Mandala, a retreat to draw closer to the Spiritual Guide and Vajrayogini close retreat.
Several winter retreats were held at KMC Spain. In the first ten days we engaged in retreat on The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment, where Gen Kelsang Chokga guided the Lamrim meditations. Reading, listening, contemplating and meditating on all stages was a deeply meaningful experience.
Then there was a two-week Heruka Body Mandala retreat. Gen Chokga guided meditations on the generation stage of Heruka Body Mandala during the first week and on completion stage during the second week. Between sessions we enjoyed sunny days, moments of silence, reading, contemplation, and time with Sangha. The participants had some profound experiences in meditation thanks to our good conditions.
This retreat created for us a deep connection with our Spiritual Guide by reciting his name mantra, creating the causes to always be under his care and protection, now and in the future.
Through this path, we cultivate the ability to help others with wisdom and compassion, and in particular, we allow the Kadam Dharma to flourish in our hearts and throughout the world.
It was an auspicious retreat.
Dorje Shugden always helps, guides, and protects pure and faithful practitioners by granting blessings, increasing their wisdom, fulfilling their positive wishes and bestowing success on all their virtuous activities. This extensive sadhana - ritual prayers for spiritual attainments - is called ‘Kangso’ in Tibetan, which means ‘Fulfilling and Restoring Ritual’. Engaging in this practice was the perfect ending to our retreat month here at KMC Spain.
Some practitioners engaged in Vajrayogini close retreat and completed it with a Vajrayogini burning offering.
A truly significant month in which many people were able to delve deeper into their meditation retreats on Lamrim, the Heruka Body Mandala, Guru yoga, and the Vajrayogini close retreat.
