Joyful preparations are underway at KMC Spain to make everything ready to welcome hundreds of people for the 2026 International Fall Festival on 9 October.
From Indiana, Fort Collins and Campinas to Athens and Nantes, recent events have shown the practical side of Dharma: how meditation and Buddhist wisdom can meet us in daily life. Teachings on anger and loss, overcoming feelings of being overwhelmed, retreats, public talks, family activities, and community gatherings all point to the same possibility: that spiritual practice is not separate from our daily experience.
Across the Kadampa community, practitioners recently came together to celebrate, receive precious teachings, and deepen their spiritual practice. From a weekend of Green Tara teachings and empowerment in Amsterdam to the 30th anniversary celebration in Ottawa, these gatherings offered joyful opportunities to connect with others, strengthen our faith, and find inspiration in the wisdom of Kadam Dharma.
This season, Kadampa communities around the world come together for special weekends of teachings and meditation. People from KMC Peru, Tara IKRC and KMC Rio de Janeiro, had the opportunity to explore Buddha’s teachings in depth, gain practical tools for transforming their daily lives, and enjoy the inspiration of practicing together.
Around 200 people gathered at IKRC Grand Canyon for a peaceful and inspiring Southwest Dharma Celebration, receiving precious teachings on subtle impermanence from Gen Gomlam.
The Colombian Dharma Celebration in Bogotá was a joyful and inspiring weekend, with Gen-la Sangden granting the empowerment of Buddha Maitreya and sharing teachings on loving kindness. With the event filled to capacity, the Colombian Kadampa community came together to receive blessings, deepen their practice, and enjoy the special spiritual atmosphere of the Celebration.
We share three special events from KMC Long Island, KMC Québec, and Tharpaland KMC, each offering a glimpse into the many ways people come together to practice, connect, learn, and share the benefits of Dharma.
At KMC Nantes, France, the community gathered to receive the purifying blessings of Buddha Vajrasattva and to explore ways of developing greater peace and compassion in daily life, while at Odiyana KMC, UK, everyone came together to enjoy Dharma teachings and cherish their precious Dharma home.
