The rain of blessings
continues around the world
This month magical and blessed empowerments were given in
Bilbao (Spain), Cologne (Germany) and Madison (US)
Buddha Shakyamuni Blessing Empowerment at KMC Bilbao
On the auspicious occasion of Heruka Day, students from Euskadi (Basque country) and other Spanish northern counties received the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni and a brief commentary to The Liberating Prayer from their Resident Teacher of KMC Bilbao, Eva Pérez.
We received so many blessings into our hearts throughout the day and during the few weeks of preparations. We feel so grateful for Buddha's immense kindness in appearing in our world for our benefit and the benefit of all.
"May all suffering quickly cease,
And all happiness and joy be filled;
And may holy Dharma flourish for evermore"
(Liberating Prayer, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche).
the blessings of Medicine Buddha IN COLOGNE
January 26th was a special day at KMC Cologne: the first empowerment with our Resident Teacher, Gen Lobma took place! Many Kadampas found their way to the Cologne center to receive the blessings of Medicine Buddha - not only from the Rhineland metropolis itself, but also from Essen, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Berlin and the North Sea region. New participants also took advantage of the wonderful opportunity to receive blessings.
In her warm and humorous teaching, Gen Lobma explained, among other things, that the origins of physical and mental illnesses lie in the three poisons of attachment, hatred and ignorance and explained the correct view of emptiness, which pacifies these three root delusions.
The empowerment was a wonderful community event: the blessings of Medicine Buddha were very tangible, reflected in wonderful encounters and radiant faces and strengthened the community of the Sangha far beyond the borders of Cologne.

AVALOKITESHVARA BLESSINGS DESCENDED IN MADISON
Gen Dorje granted the blessing empowerment of Avalokiteshvara in January at KMC Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Folks around the state and friends from KMC Chicago enjoyed blessed teachings and a day focused on compassion.
Gen Dorje’s message about compassion being the ultimate healer was poignant. He gave a lovely commentary to the Avalokiteshvara Sadhana, then we engaged in this group puja. It was a wonderful way to start the new year.
