Booking for online attendance at the 2022 International Summer Festival is now open. You can book now on the booking page on the Festival website.
This Saturday, June 4, is Dharmachakra Day, on which we celebrate Buddha’s turning the Wheel of Dharma in this world. This extremely auspicious day is also the birthday of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, who is 91 this year.
The experience of an International Festival is greatly enhanced if we can spend some time afterwards in retreat improving our understanding of the teachings and taking their meaning to heart.
Our doors are always open at KMC Barcelona, but to publicize our local activities, we held a special open day in our commercial space last weekend.
On the website booking page you can now register to attend the Festival in-person, book on-site accommodation including single and twin rooms, shared rooms, dormitory marquees and camping in the grounds.
As June 10, the day of the Temple opening approaches, the artists and others are putting the finishing touches on the interior of the Temple.
Last weekend, Gen Kelsang Tonglam, National Spiritual Director for East Asia, granted the blessing empowerment of Dorje Shugden at the East Asian Dharma Celebration. Kelsang Dachog guided the meditations and Kadam Dianna guided the retreat.
After a long break, live Festivals once again return to Manjushri KMC! The International Summer Festival 2022 will take place there July 29 – August 13.
Kadampa centers are places of gathering and learning. Here we feature two recent weekend events at Kadampa centers in the UK.
With the warmer weather, some centers are arranging public events outside so local people can see and join in mediation.
