The 2024 Fall Festival in Brazil is just 4 weeks away. For Kadampas in Brazil the anticipation is building and they are looking forward to welcoming the international Kadampa community to the Temple at KMC Brazil.
Coming together in different ways allows us to build strong connections and enhance the community spirit at Kadampa centers. Recently, two centers – KMC Montreal and KMC Chile – engaged in successful community activities that also contributed to the International Temples Project, which is dedicated to creating places of peace around the globe.
The UK Dharma Celebration 2024 recently took place at Nagarjuna KMC Thornby Hall, bringing together many people both in person and online. The event featured the empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva and teachings with Kadam Bridget Heyes, the National Spiritual Director for the UK, with an introduction by Gen Kelsang Dornying and meditations guided by Gen Kelsang Tilopa.
It was a magical weekend for some fortunate people in Germany and Portugal. The 2024 Southern German Dharma Celebration was held in Freiburg with Gen Ananda coming to grant Tara empowerment and give teachings, while Gen Rigden granted Medicine Buddha empowerment and commentary at KMC Deuachen.
