Celebrating the International Temples Project Day

The first Saturday in November is International Temples Project (ITP) Day.

Each year we set this day aside to reflect on and rejoice in the work of the International Temples Project, a worldwide charitable project that works to fulfill the wishes of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche to provide a global infrastructure to support the growth and development of Kadam Dharma throughout the world in both this and future generations.

Through the force of Venerable Geshe-la's sublime intention and his tireless compassionate activities, the foundations of modern Kadampa Buddhism are now laid in this world. And a whole generation of inspired disciples is dedicated to continuing this precious work into the future.

"Just seeing these precious Temples places on our mindstream powerful potentialities to meet holy Dharma and complete the path to liberation."
