In late December and early January, three special events will be led by Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, the National Spiritual Director of Austria, Switzerland, Italy and South Africa. National Festivals in Hong Kong, Melbourn in Australia, and Wellington in New Zealand are fast approaching.
With great warmth, we celebrated the Spanish Dharma Celebration. From across Spain, over 300 people and 100 more online, gathered at the beautiful 6th Kadampa Temple for World Peace located at KMC Spain
In the past few weeks, many practitioners had the opportunity to engage in retreats organized at Kadampa Centers around the world. Organized by KMC Barcelona in Spain, KMC Colombia, and KMC Peru, the retreats provided a great time to slow down, go inwards, and reflect.
In January 2024 the first ever group close retreats collecting 100,000 recitations of our Guru’s name mantra will be held in UK and Spain in their Kadampa Temples for World Peace.
Gen Kelsang Rigpa, Western US National Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU and Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center LA, visited Western Canada last week for a Public Talk at Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver and the Western Canada Dharma Celebration held in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
Thanksgiving at IKRC Grand Canyon was celebrated on multiple occasions. From community meals to special retreats, the community and guests had a great opportunity to come together to give thanks and rejoice in the development of their Centre.
What a wonderful weekend! People arrived at MKMC on Friday evening for a weekend course with Gen-la Dekyong. Over the weekend Gen-la gave the blessing empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa and commentary to the special Kadampa prayer “Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche from his Faithful Disciples”.
At the end of November, the German National Festival 2023 was led by the National Spiritual Director of Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and South Africa, Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang. It was a joyful event, concluding with a retreat led by the Resident Teacher of KMC Tharpaland, Gen Kelsang Ananda.

At the 2026 International Fall Festival, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong will grant the empowerment of the Wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa and give teachings on how to develop and strengthen our faith in our Spiritual Guide.
