Last weekend, we had a great opportunity to host Gen Kelsang Tonglam, at KMC Singapore. The teachings centred on the profound topic of The Emptiness of the Eight Extremes. It was truly a memorable occasion with the presence of our Sangha community.
People from different parts of Chile gathered at Kadampa Meditation Center Chile to receive profound blessings through our beloved General Spiritual Director, Gen-la Dekyong who granted the empowerment of Buddha Amitayus.
Gen Samten Kelsang visited KMC Maryland to lead a weekend retreat on “Remembering Emptiness in Daily Life”. In addition to local students, many people traveled from all over the Mid-Atlantic region to join this retreat, including participants from KMC DC, KMC Philadelphia, Menlha KMC, Dharmapala KBC, and Kalpa Bhadra KBC.
The wave of blessings continues to spread as more Kadampa Centres have engaged in the Blessing Ceremonies of various Buddhas. Last week’s events include the Empowerments of Buddha Vajrasattva in KMC New Mexico in USA, Green Tara at KMC Metz in France and KMC Vienna in Austria and Buddha Vajrapani at Atisha KMC Darlington in UK.
This past weekend marked the Portugal Dharma Celebration, led by the National Spiritual Director of Spain and Portugal, Gen Kelsang Chokga, and enriched with guided meditations led by the Resident Teacher of KMC Deuachen, Gen Kelsang Rigden.
Join us at the Mother Center this December for the blessing empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa and teachings on the special Kadampa prayer “Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche from his Faithful Disciples”, including teachings on close retreat.
A 10 day silent retreat in the Swiss mountains with Gen Devi with endless mountain vistas, the first snowfall and the peaceful light of the full moon and a weekend course in Zurich with visiting teacher Gen Dragpa on the Wheel of Life.
Last weekend Tushita KMC in Cape Town, South Africa, we were very blessed with Genla Kelsang Kunsang coming to grant the empowerment of Buddha Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden and give teachings on how faith is a real wishfulfilling jewel.
Our world needs compassion. Buddha’s complete compassion manifests itself in the form of Avalokiteshvara, the union of all enlightened beings. At the German Festival 2023, Gen-la Kunsang will bestow the blessing empowerment and provide a commentary on the practice of Buddha Avalokiteshvara.
Empowerments in Kadampa Centers are always special celebrations, bringing the community together to participate in a unique blessing ceremony. Kadampa Centers in Madrid and Alicante, Spain, as well as New York, USA, organized Empowerments of Buddha Vajrapani, the Buddha of Spiritual Power.
