Aug 4, 2026
Attaining enlightenment is very simple; all we need to do is apply effort to purifying our mind.
Clear Light of Sleep
The 11 Yogas of Vajrayogini Practice
Gen-la Jampa's teachings are both joyful and direct. He shares his love and appreciation of Tantric practice with great power and sincerity as he takes us on a journey through the 11 Yogas of Vajrayogini practice in conjunction with the book Modern Buddhism.
As Gen-la teaches us, at the heart of Tantra are practices for purifying all ordinary appearances and conceptions through self-generation as a Deity and then centralizing our winds inside our central channel through completion stage - pure winds giving rise to pure minds. The purest mind of all is the mind of clear light, It is so peaceful and blissful
Go Beyond Ordinary
As well as explaining how to practice in meditation Gen-la teaches us special essential methods for purifying both our sleep and our waking activities, offering all our pleasure and enjoyments so that we accumulate merit rather than increase attachment and samsara. If we change our desire so what we truly desire is enlightenment,we will naturally transform our daily experiences of eating, drinking and spending time with friends, into a pure spiritual path.
As Gen-la says - why be ordinary!
Encouragement
He encourages us by reminding us of the great joy that awaits if we take the time to contemplate these instructions and put them into practice without expecting quick results. Gradually, our wisdom will grow, and one day we will become completely pure beings, with pure body, speech, and mind. We will be completely free from all mistaken appearances and all suffering, and we will be able to benefit each and every living being every day. As Gen-la reminds us, when all the causes and conditions are gathered together, nothing can stop the effect from arising.
