The Power of the Migtsema Prayer
More than 100 people joined our Post-Fall Festival retreat with Gen-la Kelsang Sangden, enjoying a warm and very special few days of retreat at KMC Madrid, La Sierra.
During this time, we had the great good fortune to take to heart the precious teachings received at the International Kadampa Fall Festival and, under Gen-la Sangden’s guidance, deepen our practice of the Migtsema prayer and increase our faith in our precious Spiritual Guide.
Through teachings, meditations, and times of silence and contemplation, we were able to deepen our understanding of the power of this blessed prayer and strengthen our connection with Je Tsongkhapa and his teachings.
These were beautiful days filled with Dharma, inspiration, and Sangha, sharing the joy of practicing together and progressing along the spiritual path.
We are deeply grateful to Gen-la Kelsang Sangden, Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, for kindly accepting our invitation and guiding us with such clarity, warmth, and kindness. We would also like to thank everyone who attended and all the wonderful volunteers who made this special retreat possible.

We had a wonderful Post-Fall Festival retreat with guest Teacher Gen Kelsang Norden at Madhyamaka KMC. Kadampas from around the UK gathered together to enjoy meditating on the precious instructions received from Gen-la Dekyong at the Fall Festival in Malaga, Spain.
While a storm was brewing outside, Gen Norden skilfully guided us to raise the sail of our faith within our own hearts, so that the winds of Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka’s blessings can guide us to enlightenment.
