Going Beyond the Ordinary with Long Retreats
Last month in Switzerland and Chile, many people had the unforgettable experience of a long retreat.
THREE WEEK-long RETREATS at KMC CHILE WITH THREE DIFFERENT RESIDENT TEACHERS
This past month we were greatly fortunate at KMC Chile to complete three one-week retreats on the three principal aspects of the path. The first one, on renunciation, was guided by Kadam Roxana, Resident Teacher at KBC Tara, Antofagasta; the second one, on bodhichitta, by Jorge Muñoz, Resident Teacher at KBC Compasión, Viña del Mar; and finally the third retreat, on the correct view of emptiness, we did with our beloved Resident Teacher and National Spiritual Director, Gen Chokyong.
Practitioners from other centers and regions participated in these three retreats: from Viña del Mar, Talca, Pucon, and even two participants who travelled from Nagarjuna KBC and KMC Cordoba in Argentina!
The purpose and great benefit of these retreats we offer at KMC Chile during the year is that the Kadampa Sangha can strengthen their meditation experience by staying focused on a meditation object for several days. Only great things can happen when focusing on Lamrim. Thank you very much, Venerable Geshe-la. May everyone be happy!

We are delighted to share some highlights and evidently extraordinary results of an especially blessed inner journey undertaken by nearly 50 fortunate, international Kadampas in silent retreat at ‘Mount Kailash’ for almost 2 months!
Initially discovering a Lamrim Pure Land in the Mirror of Dharma, then from this runway, taking flight in the vehicle of Heruka Tantra, sincerely engaging the sublime generation and completion stages of Heruka body mandala in ideal retreat conditions.
Thank you Venerable Geshe-la for your inconceivable kindness! And heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this an unforgettable experience. It was out of this world!! We pray that through all our virtue created here, especially by shining the sun of our faith on Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka, that we become qualified emanations in our world to truly benefit all beings. May definitive Heruka be victorious!
