Here we see the beautiful short retreats on the practice of Buddha Amitayus in Merida, Albacete and Madrid, and the away retreats on loving kindness in beautiful settings in US and Colombia.
This weekend at KMC Madrid, we experienced a beautiful Amitayus Retreat guided by our new Resident Teacher, Gen Chokga. It was a reunion time with our Sangha, filled with learning, inspiration, and deep connection.
The yoga of Buddha Amitayus is a special method to enjoy a long life, accumulate merit, and increase wisdom. Through this practice, we strengthen our life energy, remove obstacles, and create the conditions for a meaningful life.
Each teaching and meditation reminded us of the great treasure this path offers. Thank you all for being part of this experience. May the blessings of Amitayus always be with us. See you again soon!
Thank you, Venerable Geshe-la.
This weekend we were fortunate to enjoy a retreat on The Yoga of Buddha Amitayus, deepening our experience and strengthening our connection with Guru Buddha Amitayus.
With love and wisdom, our Resident Teacher of KMC Merida, Gen Kelsang Chime, guided us with clarity and joy in each session, sharing teachings on how this practice extends our lifespan, protects us from premature death and increases our good fortune and wisdom, both temporarily and ultimately.
This opportunity came from the heart of our Founder and root Guru, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Gyatso Rinpoche - we give special thanks to him.
May all the accumulated merit benefit every sentient being and lead them to pure and lasting peace and happiness.
To overcome obstacles to our spiritual practice and the attainment of enlightenment we need to reduce our ignorance and confusion, as well as increase our lifespan and merit. The practice of The Yoga of Buddha Amitayus enables us to accomplish these conditions easily.
This weekend we had this great opportunity. Thank you Venerable Geshe-la!
Over the course of three days, the community of KMC Colombia gathered in Choachí to explore the benefits of cultivating equanimity, not only in our relationships but also in how we navigate various situations and manage our emotions.
It was a weekend filled with insightful teachings, reflections, and meditations, all set against the backdrop of nature. This peaceful environment allowed everyone to reconnect with their true essence and experience a calm, open heart.
Held at the beautiful and serene Mount Mitchell Eco Retreat, we enjoyed a weekend of powerful meditations on loving kindness.
The weekend gave us a chance to rest, reflect and bring the meaning of the Dharma teachings on loving kindness into our hearts. This was a special time to experience quieting the mind, and deepening our meditation practice, free from everyday distractions.
This retreat was based on the profound yet simple meditations on Enhancing Cherishing Love from The New Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. We had the opportunity to radically transform how we relate to others. A truly life-changing experience!
