STATUES FOR ARIZONA NEARING COMPLETION, FIVE FAMILY BUDDHAS APPEARING
More amazing things have been happening in the Kadampa Art Studio in the last couple of weeks.
The three large statues for the Temple shrine in Arizona are nearing completion. The Tara statue is now fully finished and has been crated ready for shipping to Arizona, where it will be filled.
The painting of the Avalokiteshvara statue is almost finished, and when completed the statue will be shipped with the Tara statue.
The preparation of the main Buddha statue is complete and it has been sprayed. Because the arm is cast separately the next task is to attach it, which we can see in the video. After further preparation the statue will be painted.
The Temple in Arizona will be the first to have plaques of the actual images of the Five Buddha Families on the upper level inside. Here we see the molds being produced ready for casting. More of these in the next update.
