RETREAT ON VAJRAYOGINI WITH GEN-LA DEKYONG

As the January retreat at Manjushri KMC reaches its half way point, the retreat changes to a Tantric retreat led by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, the Resident Teacher and General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU.

The retreat is entitled ‘Emptiness & Bliss’. It offers a very special opportunity to improve our understanding and experience of the generation and completion stages of Highest Yoga Tantra according to the practice of Venerable Vajrayogini.

As can be seen from the video excerpt of Gen-la’s introductory talk last night, it is important to understand that we have this opportunity only because it was given to us by our holy Spiritual Guide. With this recognition we develop deep faith, from which all Tantric realisations grow.

And sitting in the blessed environment of the first Temple for World Peace in which Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche has given so many teachings and empowerments and made so many prayers, we are constantly reminded of the power of his immaculate, virtuous intention and the breadth of his compassionate vision. It is like meditating in an ocean of blessings.
