The Power to Keep a Peaceful Mind
Deepening Our Practice of Migtsema
The Wisdom Blessing of Je Tsongkhapa
Monday's meditation with Gen Zamling is a rare opportunity to practice the King of the Dharma Sadhana and to engage in self-generation as Je Tsongkhapa, the synthesis of all Buddhas’ wisdom, compassion, and spiritual power. It is a special way to begin the day and to prepare our minds to deeply contemplate how to practice the Migtsema prayer according to Highest Yoga Tantra.
Gen-la's teachings are illuminating and inspiring, teaching us how to recognize our Spiritual Guide correctly and how, in Je Tsongkhapa’s teachings, we find a clear, unmistaken, and complete explanation of emptiness, and also a clear, unmistaken, and complete explanation of great bliss.

The Precious Gift of Dharma Books
Wisdom Appearing in Your World
The Festival shows us so clearly that the wisdom of Je Tsongkhapa is appearing in our world in the form of qualified Temples, teachers, study programs, and, most of all, our precious Dharma books.
Venerable Geshe-la has said that holy beings benefit all living beings by displaying their realizations in the form of books that can be studied and put into practice. He has also said, “If people want to know me, they should read my books.” In this way, we can find and follow the wisdom spiritual path of Lamrim, Lojong, and Mahamudra—the unmistaken Dharma of Je Tsongkhapa.
As Gen-la Dekyong says, we have a collection of unequaled books, the collected works of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Wisdom appearing in the form of books that we can see, that we can hold, that we can contemplate, and that we can practice. They are our refuge, they are our teacher, they are on our shrines, they are being translated into every language, and, most of all, they need to be in our hands. She encourages us to read in a special way, so that it touches our hearts practically and leads us to meditation objects.

Precious Dharma Treasures
During this Festival, we have focused in particular on the books Heart Jewel and The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra, both of which teach us how to rely on Je Tsongkhapa and put his teachings into practice. The Tharpa shop is busy throughout the Festival with people stocking up on their wisdom essentials and admiring the latest developments at Tharpa Publications.
