French and Nordic Dharma Celebrations 2024

A special event organised by Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Penang, was hosted by a local Chinese Independent High School. Over 150 people attended, including the school principal, some of their teachers, and a large group of teenage students.
This past weekend over 100 fortunate Kadampas met up in-person in Singapore for the 2022 Asian Festival, with an additional 100 joining the event online.
Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong enjoyed a fundraising walk with meditation guided by Gen Tonglam, the Resident Teacher.
With the Asian Festival fast approaching we take a look at the some of the centres in Asia.
Recently, Gen Kelsang Tonglam, Resident Teacher at KMC Hong Kong, explained and guided sublime meditations from Clear Light of Bliss during the Post Summer Festival retreat.
Last weekend, Gen Kelsang Tonglam, National Spiritual Director for East Asia, granted the blessing empowerment of Dorje Shugden at the East Asian Dharma Celebration. Kelsang Dachog guided the meditations and Kadam Dianna guided the retreat.
After visiting in Australia for the Australian Dharma Celebration, Gen Kelsang Rabten, the National Spiritual Director for South-East Asia, Australia & New Zealand visited Singapore to preside over the Southeast Asia Dharma Celebration.
This year, the 20th Asian Festival was attended by 220 fortunate people from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Phillipines, Sinapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
KMC Hong Kong is now open to the public for meditation classes. People came to look round the new center and listen to the Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Tonglam give a teaching. Soon after, the new Foundation Program classes begin studying Meaningful to Behold.
Last weekend, people from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Japan enjoyed the 2021 South-east Asian Dharma Celebration online with Gen Kelsang Rabten, the National Spiritual Director for the region.
