The 20th Asian Festival touches hearts in many countries
This year, the 20th Asian Festival was attended by 220 fortunate people from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Phillipines, Sinapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
"Last weekend, fortunate modern Kadampa disciples gathered across Asia to celebrate the annual Asian Festival during which Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab kindly granted the blessing empowerment of Great Mother Prajnaparamita and gave teachings on the Three Principal Aspects of the Path to Enlightenment.
"This year's Festival was run as an online event, with Kadampas gathering together at their local Dharma Centres to re-create the Festival atmosphere as much as possible.
"During the Festival we received an inspiring introduction from Gen Kelsang Tonglam, Resident Teacher of KMC Hong Kong, and daily meditations were led by Kelsang Rabka, Resident Teacher of KMC Singapore.
"We give heartfelt thanks to the Festival organisers, translators (teachings and meditations were translated into Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese), Teachers and especially to Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for making this event possible."
