Kadam Dharma in Asia

This weekend, KMC Hong Kong hosted the East Asian Dharma Celebration online with Gen Kelsang Tonglam, National Spiritual Director of Hong Kong, Taiwan & Philippines. Experience a taste of this special event with the short video and extraordinary photo gallery.

Last weekend, hundreds of people throughout Asia enjoyed the 2020 Asian Festival entitled The Joyful Path of Compassion, with Gen-la Kunsang, retired Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT. Gen-la gave the blessing empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara and teachings on How to Practise Compassion with Joy.

The Asian Kadampa Festival 2020 will be held online December 18-21. Throughout Asia people are busy with the preparations.

On Saturday November 7, International Temples Day, KMC Hong Kong relocated to their new center, which they designed and remodeled themselves. These last few days the community has worked diligently to enhance the shrine and install the eight auspicious symbols above the shrine.. At KMC Hong Kong we are delighted to announce that renovation of the new premises is going well and we plan to move there on November 7, International Temples Day.

Heartfelt thanks from the students of KMC Hong Kong to Gen Tonglam for guiding the post Summer Festival retreat on Advice from Atisha’s Heart.

There are 52 students on the English Language Foundation Programme at KMC Hong Kong with Gen Kelsang Tonglam studying remotely but connected and uplifted by the joy of listening to the teachings.

Over 150 fortunate ones received Buddha Vajrasattva empowerment and teachings on purification from Gen Tonglam, which is so practical and helpful in this challenging time.
