Blessing Empowerments in Mexico, Canada and Chile

Last week across North and South America, practitioners received blessings through empowerments and teachings — precious opportunities to connect deeply with Buddha’s compassion and wisdom.

Special Blessings of Buddha Prajnaparamita at KMC Satelite, Mexico

Our wonderful Sangha recently gathered to receive the empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita from our kind Teacher in KMC Satelite, Gen Oden. Through these special blessings, we deepened our connection with the wisdom of emptiness – the supreme method for solving all our problems.

With heartfelt gratitude to our precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, whose kindness makes it possible for us to meet these precious teachings and practices. We rejoice in this rare and meaningful opportunity.

A WEEKEND FULL OF BLESSINGS in concepcion, chile

This past weekend we shared a very special moment: the empowerment of the Buddha of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara at KMC Concepcion, Chile.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended, as well as the volunteers who made this event possible.

Especially, we would like to thank our Resident Teacher, Kelsang Khandro, for transmitting the profound blessings and teachings. And of course, our precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, for his immense kindness in giving us the holy Dharma.

Medicine Buddha Empowerment in Fraser Valley, Canada

On Saturday, September 6, Kadampa Meditation Centre Fraser Valley hosted a Medicine Buddha empowerment with Gen Delek at the Langley Arts Council, with 29 people attending. The gathering was peaceful, joyous, and deeply inspiring, as we came together with sincere wishes for healing and world peace.

Drawing from Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s empowerments and teachings, we reflected on how to bring Medicine Buddha prayers into daily life by balancing renunciation and compassion. Renunciation is not escape but focusing on the spiritual path, while compassion and bodhichitta inspire us to dedicate our life for the benefit of others.

We were reminded of the power of prayer. Just as one straw cannot sweep a room very effectively, a bundle can; when we pray together with confidence our prayers become a powerful force for healing and peace. Cause and effect cannot happen simultaneously, and our prayers may ripen at different times and in different places. Our role is simply to pray with a compassionate motivation — equally for everyone — for harmony and for all beings to follow the correct path.

As Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche explained: “In this way, I believe you will solve the world’s problems gradually.”
