This month blessing empowerments were given in Europe – in Portugal, Sweden and Barcelona. Empowerments are always a special time at centers, a chance for students to deepen their connection with a particular Deity and gain familiarity with spiritual practices related to that Deity. And of course they are a very joyful and blessed experience!

This month saw inspiring events in Colombia and Mexico. KMC Colombia welcomed the new Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Atisha, with a very special course, attended by over 100 people and KBC Drolma in Chiapas, Mexico celebrated their 30th anniversary with National Spiritual Director Gen Kelsang Sangden.
Last month, from the runway of Sutra, our Tantric vehicle soared towards Dakini Land! Over 30 fortunate international Kadampas embarked on this blissful 6-week inner voyage of discovery, exploring the union of the Lamrim of Sutra and Vajrayogini Tantra in sublime, silent retreat conditions.
Over 400 people from all over Brazil, gathered at Kadampa Meditation Center Brazil to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, granted by the National Spiritual Director Gen Kelsang Mudita in the beautiful Kadampa Temple for World Peace.

Fortunate Kadampas from Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, and Italy gathered in Ljubljana, Slovenia one weekend in February 2024 to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva. The empowerment was given by Božena Činkole, one of the Resident Teachers of KMC Slovenia.
The International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon finished its 2024 Mountain Retreat with powerful blessings during a three-week Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka Close Retreat and Vajradaka Burning Offering.
KMC Wales recently hosted Gen Dornying in Swansea for two transformative events. The public talk at Brangwyn Hall, “How to Find Happiness from a Different Source,” and the day course, “Learning to Let Go,” offered profound insights into meditation and practical wisdom, deeply touching attendees and encouraging positive feedback.
In mid-February, more than 45 people from Cordoba, Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, and Uruguay participated in the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Cordoba Kadampa Meditation Center in Argentina.
