Find Your Happy Life ~ Searching For Happiness Where It Can Be Found! ~ Public Talk with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
This February over 300 people gathered at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre for a special talk by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong. They learned about true happiness and enjoyed meditation, the cafe, and the beautiful surroundings. It was a day full of peace, learning, and joy, shared with others.
KMC Vancouver
4 Public Talks in Vancouver!
Over the last two weeks, over 130 people registered for KMC Vancouver’s four public talks, given by Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Sanden.
Entitled "Buddhist Solutions for Life’s Challenges," the talks gave attendees an opportunity to learn about the power of patient acceptance, how to use discomfort to our advantage instead of being defeated by it, and to explore the origins of our hurt feelings.
Many people stayed behind after the talks to ask questions and enjoy refreshments. The book “How to Solve our Human Problems” flew off the shelves!
Like all cities around the world, Vancouver needs Dharma wisdom and a place of true refuge. These talks were a meaningful springboard for people to join KMC Vancouver’s upcoming series and events. They offer a chance to gain lasting solutions to life’s challenges and to engage in the most profound spiritual path.
Nagarjuna KMC
Snowdrop Walk, with Meditation and Afternoon Tea on Saturday, 10th February at Nagarjuna KMC, Thornby Hall
Fortunately, the rain held off for our guided walk among the snowdrops in the beautiful woods of Nagarjuna KMC, Thornby Hall. We had a full house for the meditation session led by Rosy Moore, which was perfectly rounded off with a delicious afternoon tea. Attendees shared wonderful feedback about their great experience, especially enjoying the yummy cakes and scones. We saw lots of happy, smiley faces looking forward to returning for future events.

We experienced a very beautiful Green Tara Empowerment last Saturday at Kadampa Meditation Centre Ottawa, led by Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Thekchen. Many gathered to experience the sublime, uplifting blessings. Thank you Geshe-la and Gen Thekchen, and to everyone who contributed and attended, for making this event so wonderful!

Green Tara Empowerment in Compassion KBC
This February at Compassion KBC, we had the incredible good fortune of receiving the empowerment blessings of Green Tara, with Resident Teacher Jorge Muñoz. During the event, we had the opportunity to share with our spiritual friends from different cities in Chile, engage in guided meditations, offer prayers, learn from teachings, and inspire ourselves to begin 2024 with renewed spiritual power by relying on Arya Tara.

We kicked off our 20-year anniversary celebrations with a public talk by Kadam Bridget Heyes, followed by a special Meditation and Meal evening. The event featured an inspiring talk by Kelsang Gyalpo and a lovely cake made especially for the occasion by Dan, a cherished member of our Sangha community.
