A meaningful Christmas at the Mother Center
The Christmas course at Manjushri KMC, led by Gen Kelsang Tilopa from December 23 to 27, 2023, was a memorable experience. Participants gathered to explore the theme "Finding Meaning and Purpose in Your Life," delving into teachings about happiness and inner peace.
Throughout the course, attendees engaged in guided meditations and received practical teachings, which helped us to cultivate the inner tools we need to find happiness and freedom within our own mind. We understood that we do not need to change our external conditions, but can create harmony in our life and our relationships through training our mind in the virtues of love, compassion, and wisdom.
The festive atmosphere at Manjushri KMC added to the experience. Decorations and a special vegetarian Christmas lunch prepared by volunteers created a sense of community and celebration.
As the event concluded, attendees left with insightful lessons on finding happiness within themselves and having enjoyed fun and friendship at this special Christmas event at Manjushri KMC.
