KMC Tampa Bay
WALK FOR WORLD PEACE at KMC Tampa Bay, Florida.
KMC Tampa Bay recently held a community event that was also a Fundraiser. A wonderful time was had by everyone.
KMC Peru
On the last Saturday, October 21st, Kelsang Jindak, the resident teacher at KMC Peru, gave teachings on how forgiveness is a strong and courageous mind that liberates us from unnecessary pain. In this way, each of the participants took home practical tools, derived from the wisdom of Buddha, on how to forgive others, leave the past behind, and move in the direction of healthy and loving relationships and a happy life.
Tara Kadampa Buddhist Center
“On an incredible night this past Tuesday, we experienced the heartwarming inaugural class of the Tara Kadampa Buddhist Center in Salvador!
Guided by our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Janglam, we delved into the realm of Inner Peace: Buddhism and Meditation for All. It was amazing to see so many people discovering Kadampa Buddhism for the first time and connecting with our warm community. But what truly warmed our hearts was the reunion of sangha friends, who were filled with excitement to be together again.
After 6 months of strongly wishing for this, the Center resumed its in-person activities with this evening! For the past 6 months, we were inspired by the on-line teachings of our Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Mudita, in São Paulo. Now, we are filled with hope and joy with this fresh start!”
Nagarjuna KBC, Argentina
During the last weekend of September and culminating with a retreat on October 8, we had the first Initiation of our Center - Nagarjuna KBC. Our resident teacher María Eugenia Cháves brought us the blessings of Green Tara. An inspiring and meaningful experience.
With thanks to our Spiritual Guide and Founder Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche through whose kindness and blessing this empowerment was possible. May the Dharma flourish without ceasing in Argentina and the entire world!
Jampa Ling KBC
Jampa Ling KBC held a Public Talk in Newmarket on the evening of the 12th October 2023.
The event was well attended as the people of Newmarket came to listen to Gen Kelsang Suma talk about how we can develop peaceful and happy minds through regular meditation practice.
Afterwards many people stayed around to ask Gen Suma questions, have some snacks and purchase some of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s books.
The evening was considered to be a great success with people leaving happy and uplifted with many newcomers showing an interest in attending our regular Monday evening branch class in Newmarket.
