Mountain Retreat at IKRC Grand Canyon
This weekend the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon started its sixth annual six-week Mountain Retreat.
Saturday morning began with 90 people from 7 countries and all across the USA joining together in the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Manjushri.
"This years Mountain Retreat so far has over 115 people from 8 countries attending the retreat. 17 people will be attending all six weeks and 20 have registered to do full silence for their entire stay.
"The IKRC has taken extensive measures to ensure those maintaining full silence have their own accommodations that are silent, their own dinning, cafe and lounge area that is 100% silent and their own entrance into the Temple! OH and even special volunteer jobs too!"
