Day 3 ~ Appreciating Our Precious Human Life
Jul 27, 2026
KMC Singapore has just relocated to a new center in the city.
"Thank you all our kind sangha & volunteers who have helped out over the months- planning, packing, moving, cleaning etc - all the work behind the scenes that helped make this new space possible!
"The centre officially opens with a special Offering to Spiritual Guide puja on September 25!
"Foundation Program classes will resume October 10, and General Program classes October 13. To begin with there will be two lunchtime meditations and two evening classes.
"In November we hope to be opening up to 'in-person' classes at the centre."
After six months at Manjushri KMC studying on the Intensive Teacher Training Program with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, Kelsang Rabka has just arrived in Singapore to take up his position as the Resident Teacher.
Originally from Australia he has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 12 years and has taught both in Australia and the UK.
The day begins with a morning meditation on the first Lamrim meditation that we learned about yesterday, the preciousness of our human life. Using the Festival teachings and Venerable Geshe-la's words to help us to contemplate the purpose of the meditation which is to encourage us to take the real meaning of our human lives
