In May 2006,Venerable Geshe Kelsang Rinpoche visited KMC Spain in Malaga to bless the Temple and formally open the new center. Gradually over the years other centers have appeared in the surrounding region and KMC Spain has become the hub of a very auspicious wheel.

This weekend, 12 years later, over 300 people gathered at the Temple for the13th Spanish Dharma Celebration

Guen Kelsang Chokga, NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for Spain, granted Dorje Shugden empowerment and gave teachings on How to Solve our Human Problems.

In her teachings Guen Ghokga explained how to increase the power of our patience by always remembering that suffering has many good qualities.

The empowerment and teachings were extraordinarily powerful and everyone left feeling strengthened, focused, and inwardly protected.

A feature of this Celebration was that guests were able to enjoy 11 brand new rooms at KMC Spain that have recently been added above the single storey accommodation units.
