Fall Post-Festival Retreats 2027
After this year’s International Fall Festival, Kadampa centers across Europe held post-festival retreats to carry its inspiration into daily life. At KMC Alicante, Kailash IRC and KMC Toulouse, participants enjoyed clear teachings, peaceful stillness and warm Sangha connections. They left grateful for Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's kindness.

A post-Fall Festival retreat with Gen Kelsang Rabten
From Friday 16th to Wednesday 21st October, we were immensely fortunate to welcome Gen Kelsang Rabten to the Vajravarahi Kadampa Meditation Centre in Toulouse for a Post-Fall Festival retreat entitled “Our True Heart Jewel.”
A huge thank you to Gen Rabten for his wonderfully clear and inspiring teachings. We all leave feeling very confident and with our hearts filled with blessings. He offered us a tailor-made retreat program, during which we reveled in virtue!
We welcomed around 90 people to this event, which was a great success. Held in an urban center that is not residential, the retreat ran very smoothly, and participants gave us very positive feedback.
We organized several sightseeing walks to explore Toulouse during the lunch breaks, giving us the chance to picnic together. We also shared convivial moments during the snack breaks between sessions.
It was a truly blessed and deeply rejuvenating time, a moment of rich and meaningful sharing. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. Thank you, Gen Rabten, and thank you, Geshe-la.

We took the inspiration of the International Fall Festival deep into our hearts at Kailash IRC. Guided with warmth and insight by Gen Demo, the US Midwestern National Spiritual Director for the NKT-IKBU, our post-festival retreat offered the perfect stillness in the Swiss mountains to meditate on the teachings and build an even closer personal connection with Je Tsongkhapa. We are immensely grateful for these peaceful days and our wonderful Sangha.
