Teachers from around the world visited Kadampa communities in Edinburgh (UK), Paris (France), Concepción (Chile), and Madrid (Spain), sharing practical teachings, guided meditations, and inspiring advice that helped participants deepen their experience of Dharma in daily life.

A Special Visit from Gen-la Kelsang Sangden to edinburgh

Photos from a recent special event with Gen-la Kelsang Sangden, who visited from Mexico City to share inspiring teachings on the power of a quiet mind. Through her clear and practical guidance, participants gained valuable insights into developing inner peace and a more positive state of mind.

The event brought together people from many different classes at the center, creating a warm sense of community and connection. It was a joyful occasion, made even more meaningful by the kindness of the many volunteers who helped make it possible.

GEN TONGLAM VISITED KMC PARIS IN FRANCE

When 140 people gather on a weeknight to explore the foundations of Buddhism, something meaningful is happening. Recently, 90 people attended in person and 50 joined online for the talk Introduction to the Four Noble Truths with Gen Kelsang Tonglam from KMC Hong Kong.

Through clear and accessible explanations, Gen Tonglam presented the essence of Buddha’s teachings on the Four Noble Truths, helping participants understand the causes of suffering and the path to lasting happiness and inner peace.

A Special Visit from Gen Kelsang Rinchung to KMC Concepción

KMC Concepción had the great good fortune to welcome Gen Kelsang Rinchung, the National Spiritual Director for Chile.

The visit began with a public talk at the Municipal Library, where participants received practical advice on how to reduce the painful mind of attachment and develop greater inner peace.

Over the weekend, Gen Rinchung then guided an urban retreat focused on developing compassion, helping participants deepen their understanding and experience of this precious mind through teachings and meditation.

It was a joyful and inspiring weekend, leaving everyone with a stronger connection to Dharma and practical methods to apply in daily life.

GEN KELSANG TRIME, RESIDENT TEACHER of KMC SEVILLE AT KMC MADRID

As part of the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of KMC Madrid, participants enjoyed a special Detox Retreat guided by Gen Kelsang Trime, Resident Teacher of KMC Sevilla.

Throughout the weekend, participants learned practical methods for recognizing and purifying the negative thoughts and habits that disturb inner peace and happiness. Through inspiring teachings, guided meditations, and practical advice, they discovered how to detoxify the mind and integrate these methods into daily life.

With warmth, clarity, and engaging examples, Gen Trime showed how Dharma can help transform everyday experiences into opportunities for spiritual growth. The retreat was filled with joy, inspiration, and meaningful insights, leaving participants encouraged to continue developing a more peaceful and positive mind.
