Cologne was chosen as a location by Venerable Geshe-la because of the favorable conditions for Dharma to flourish in the area. It is in a central location in the most populous state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which has a population of over 18 million people. Cologne is the fourth-largest city in Germany and combines lively urban life with inspiring historical landmarks. This blend of history, culture and energy creates a vibrant environment where people can be inspired by Kadam Dharma.

After a period of gradual development and planning, all conditions have now come together to allow the center to be fully utilized. Renovation work is currently underway for a new shrine and this will be completed by November 20th with the installation of beautiful new statues, making the space even more inspiring and powerful.
