From September 5 to 9, Kadampas from all over Germany gathered at the beautiful Tharpaland KMC for the German Festival 2025 with Gen-la Kunsang.

A FESTIVAL OF HEALING BLESSINGS AND POWERFUL PRAYERS

Gen-la Kunsang granted the blessing and empowerment of Medicine Buddha and then gave explanations on the practices of self-generation and the Medicine Buddha Prayer. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Gen-la Kunsang for making the long journey to Tharpaland to share these precious and inspiring teachings from Venerable Geshe-la, which enable us not only to heal ourselves but also to be of real benefit to others—thank you, Gen-la!

Gen-la Kunsang granted Medicine Buddha empowerment

A heartfelt thank you also to our National Spiritual Director, Gen Ananda, for the deeply moving Medicine Buddha Prayer retreat, and to Gen Repa from KMC Frankfurt for the inspiring morning meditations.

And most especially, we thank Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, our precious Spiritual Guide, from the bottom of our hearts for making this special event possible! Thank you very much, Venerable Geshe-la!

It was a joyful and harmonious gathering of people young and old from all over Germany—a diverse group of participants who supported and inspired each other and enriched the entire Festival experience through their volunteer work in all kinds of areas. Thank you to everyone who helped make this Festival an unforgettable event!
